It doesn’t matter what TV program we’re talking about…Breaking Bad, Big Brother, Trailer Park Boys or Cops… all of them started with a PITCH.  A Pitch is short, but it can take years to master.  This 3-hour workshop is a good place to start. From the key elements of a great pitch, to actually giving it a shot; Sonya Jampolsky will also share bits from her years of pitching experience, the good, the bad and the just plain embarrassing.  Be prepared to jump right in and pitch your concept for a TV program.

Instructor- Sonya Jampolsky

Sonya Jampolsky has spent hours talking to herself and anyone else that will listen to her TV show pitches.  With 15 years in the business as a director, writer, story editor and producer, she is also VP Development at Ocean Entertainment and can say she’s pitched just about every broadcaster in the Canadian and American marketplace.  It’s those pitches that have turned into TV series and documentaries like To Catch A Killer, Family Renovation, Trapped and Spice Goddess.
