In this workshop participants will learn the basics of costume design, and how colour, fabric, style, and fit can help tell your story in a more meaningful way. Costumes are an important part of the overall look of our films, and can inform us about character and storyline. Come learn this important visual language so you can apply it to your own filmmaking practices!

Location: Zoom

Instructor: Emlyn Murray

EMLYN MURRAY is a costume designer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. An alumna of Costume Studies at Dalhousie University, Emlyn has been designing for theatre and film since 2014.
