This workshop is designed to give participants a balanced understanding of the elements involved in recording moving images for film. Participants will learn the theory of creating an image, working with the camera, working with the lighting department, and a brief overview of the equipment and tools used to create compelling imagery.

A three time Vimeo Staff Pick Recipient and nominee for the Canadian Cinematographer Society’s “Best Documentary Cinematographer” award Kevin’s work as screened at well over a hundred film festivals on screens all over the world including Palm Springs, Hot Docs, DocNYC & Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA.
Kevin has had the opportunity to work in every Canadian Province as well as 25 other countries around the world but most importantly he has been thankful work and have fun alongside wonderful directors and crew he considers close friends.
