To kick off the New Year, AFCOOP is offering a three hour workshop focused on writing, directing and pitching comedies with LA based writer/director Andrew Bush.

Andrew will talk about his time working as a director/writer at Funny Or Die as well as his experience pitching feature films to companies in LA. He’ll go over how to maximize your time on set through shot listing and organization as well as how to put together a comedy pitch book for meetings with studios.

He’ll also examine some classic comedy films breaking down shot structure and pacing.

Andrew Bush is an LA based writer/actor/director who has been working in television for over fifteen years. His credits include head writer for the Emmy award winning show Street Cents, writer/director at Funny Or Die as well as co-writer/director for the Canadian feature Rollertown. Andrew is currently directing Lionsgate’s new comedy Dirty Thirty to be released summer 2016.
