This weekend intensive will begin with a comprehensive  survey of the fundamental terms and concepts of sound editing. Participants will then use these concepts to analyze and discuss the art of sound design while screening film clips. Finally,  the basics of Digital Sound Editing will be demonstrated using ProTools, the most universally used software in film and music editing.

This workshop is a great immersive experience for those interested in sound design and sound editing for film and for those who want to learn more about the process. Each participant will receive ten hours of practice time with ProTools in  AFCOOP's Media Suite.
